Phoenix-based writer/director Nathan Blackwell has directed over forty short films, two low-to-no budget feature films, created two web series, and has won twenty three awards for filmmaking.
His production company, Squishy Studios, has featured such characters as the worst starship crew in the galaxy, a gentleman super spy, a seductive cross dresser, a rectal-probing alien, evil space lizard men, a nazi commander who gets his face melted off, a failed suburban mad scientist, melodramatic role-playing nerds, ninjas, an angst-ridden teenage girl who can cast magic, and (naturally) zombies.
